Several procedures described on this site carry genuine risk if done carelessly. Machine polishing removes clear coat and can burn through it. Wheel cleaners and all-purpose cleaners can permanently damage surfaces they are not intended for. Pressure washers can lift failing paint and trim.

We describe the risks where we know them, and we cannot anticipate every vehicle or situation. Test any product and any technique on an inconspicuous area first. If you are not confident, a professional detailer is a reasonable expense.
