Corrections are the most useful thing you can send us. If a figure on this site is wrong, we want to know before the next reader sees it.
The fastest way to reach us is directly: contact@detailingandwax.com. It reaches the person who writes this site.
Detailing & Wax is published by Iron Mako Media. We have no office open to the public and no phone line, so email is genuinely the channel rather than the fallback.
What is most useful to send
- A correction. The page, the specific figure, and what you think it should be. We check it against the manufacturer's published data and either fix the page with a dated note or explain why it stands.
- A product we have missed. Particularly if it is something you own and the specifications on our page for a competitor do not match your experience of it.
- A question about a pick. If a page did not answer the question you arrived with, that is a gap in the page rather than a gap in you, and knowing about it helps.
- A broken link or something that does not work. Including on a phone, which is where most people read this.
What we cannot usefully do is diagnose a specific problem with your car from a description. We have not seen the paint, and guessing would be exactly the kind of unfounded confidence our methodology exists to avoid.

This form emails us directly. We do not add anyone to a mailing list — there is no mailing list — and what happens to your message is set out in the privacy policy.
What we will not do
- Accept payment for a placement, a ranking or a review. Not from anyone, at any price.
- Publish a product we have not verified to a real, currently-sold listing.
- Send your email address anywhere other than our own inbox.
- Claim to have tested something we have not.
